 As It's Meow or Never for Ferals tries to move forward with helping more and more stray and feral cats through our TNR efforts we are running into situations which often require that we relocate some or all of the cats. We would love to compile a list of willing caring people who have properties with barns, farms, nurseries, country homes with acreage, etc. that could take one or more of these cats. These environments most importanly would be safe and the cats would be provided some form of shelter from the elements, regular food & water and will be humanely cared for should they require medical attention. These cats will be free to these generous people and will arrive fully spay/neutered, rabies vaccinated, with left ear tipped and a microchip. These cats range from fully feral (afraid of humans/unsocialized) to strays that just need time to warm up to humans again, to full blown friendly kitties, to young kittens that can be socialized and tamed by their new human caregivers. These cats will require being held in some form of enclosure (stall, barn, shed, garage, wire crate, etc) for 2-3 weeks on the new property to give them time to acclimate to their new territory. And, yes, at this time we have 4 adolescent kittens (about 4-5 months old) that could use a wonderful new home and territory to call their forever home. We plan to start the TNR this Sunday, July 18th and the cats can be brought to the new location and settled in as soon as they are alert enough from their surgeries.
